Country Manager

Our client is a regional importer and a dynamically growing participant in its own market in Hungary and the Central European region. For them we are looking for a Top Manager for its  Hungarian market. He/she will work with the management team to deliver the company vision, strategy and the culture on time and on budget.

Main job tasks:

  • Competing performance evaluations regularly and developing short and long-term goals for sales and aftersales services includes administrative
  • Identify existing key dealer partners and develop plans to improve their performance
  • Identify new dealer partners to establish a competitive dealer network
  • Accomplish operations and organization mission by completing related results
  • Prepare annual budget and complete action plans on production and sales
  • Active market positioning and strong business development
  • Sharp focus on sustainable profit growth
  • Overseeing the monthly financial statement to ensure it is complete
  • Responsible for business stability and quality improvement
  • Creating cost-effective advertising programs and merchandising strategies for the dealerships
  • Responsible for the preparation and issuance of the periodical market data, business, and financial KPIs, and their achievements of the brand
  • Develop retail and corporate sales – people, process, product
  • Ensure the Country performance in terms of sales KPIs (wholesale, retail, registration, stock, credit limit, agreed sales targets/ mix, and monitor achievement
  • Create action plan for dealers in order to maximize their business
  • Identify low performing dealers and support them to improve
  • Develop dealer binding programs
  • Benchmark the performance of competitors to identify gaps and improvement opportunities
  • Producing meaningful and accurate analyses and recommendations for improving sales and financial performance
  • Paying close attention to the operations, recommending and creating improved courses of action where necessary
  • P&L responsibility for HUN market

 Requirements:

    • University degree
    • 10-15 years’ leadership experience mainly in sales and/or finance, marketing, distribution
    • Any automotive sales and service experience is an advantage, but not specific requirement
    • Ability to work independently based on inner motivation
    • Exceptional people and relationship management skills
    • High level of loyalty, transparency and sincerity
    • Competitive mindset, great motivational skills
    • Structured, objective-driven performance management
    • Language: English and Hungarian
    • Very good communication and leading skills
