We are seeking an experienced International Tax Director for our Client that is a fast-growing, high-touch, global outsourcing partner providing omni-channel contact center solutions across various industries and expanding global business – currently in US, Canada, Dominican, Hungary, Mexico, Philippines, Costa Rica and Malaysia.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Spearhead worldwide IFRS tax provision, tax reserves and related disclosures. Accounting for income taxes, technical research, process improvement, and risk and controls.
  • Provide US-outbound tax planning support for international operations of US-headquartered company, including, repatriation strategies, foreign tax credit optimization and local country tax planning opportunities
  • Assist in improving global corporate organizational structure and implementation of restructurings in furtherance of business model transition and company’s global tax and cash management strategies
  • Assist with M&A projects, including tax due diligence, negotiation of tax sections in acquisition agreements, and post-acquisition integration
  • Oversee Transfer Pricing policy globally, domestic and international insurance and risk management
  • Conduct research and provide documentation in support of company’s tax planning initiatives and tax return positions
  • Monitor and assess legislative developments impacting company’s tax position
  • Assist with special projects and analysis as needed working with the COO, CLO, CFO and Board
  • Assist in establishment of business operations in new geographies
  • Assist with employee mobility tax issues as well as compensation matters
  • Assist in tax audit management and defense
  • Coordinate with non-US tax departments regarding tax matters and liaise with external tax advisors


  • 5+ years progressive experience in accounting, international tax and transfer pricing.
  • Degree in Finance or Economy – CPA or MBA preferred, LL.M Tax is an advantage
  • Bi-Lingual and Spanish is a plus
  • Proven track record of breaking down and solving complex problems with impeccable business judgment
  • Excellent negotiation, influencing and presentation skills
  • Highly developed skills in internal financial reporting, application of accounting principles, financial decision making and internal control
  • Proficient MS Office, incl. Excel, PowerPoint, Access Exceptional knowledge of accounting and cost control principles according to IFRS, GAAP is an advantage
  • Hands-on experience transacting in multiple currencies required
  • Oracle NetSuite Oneworld experience is a plus
  • Concentration of experience in the services industry, BPO background is a plus
  • International and M&A assessment/integration experience is a plus
