The largest private equity-backed university in Hungary is looking for an experienced project manager / strategy associate to lead its local and regional strategic initiatives. S/he will report directly to the CEO.
Main Responsibilities
Strategic development and reviews for METU Group
- Lead the work to develop and review corporate strategy
- Be involved in communication of and alignment to strategy in the organization
- Monitor and support the implementation of strategy
- Support management in developing and reviewing functional strategy
Business Development
- Identify new growth opportunities
- Develop business cases for new business opportunities
- Research trends, market development and competitor insights
M&A
- Develop and maintain an up-to-date pipeline of potential acquisition targets in cooperation with the university owners
- Support M&A activities from a strategic fit point of view, including commercial due diligence
- Lead integration process of new acquisitions to extract incremental value

Requirements
- 3-5 years’ professional experience in consulting, project management or finance
- College/university degree
