Dr. Telkes Jozsef Management Consulting Ltd., which originally specialized in recruitment and selection, launched its branch of organization and human resources consultancy in the mid 90s. The latter became an independent company as Telkes Consulting Inc. in 2000. and was joined by new partners in early 2004. This move also meant the further extension of the scope of activities: based on the internal resources, and the experts and enterprises of its partner companies, Telkes Consulting has a wide scale of competencies and activities from a variety of organizational and HR projects to strategic, communications and growth-related consulting tasks.  The ‘traditional’ executive search project are carried out by Dr. Telkes Jozsef Management Consulting Ltd., now an affiliate company of Telkes Consulting Inc

The main business units of Telkes Consulting Inc.:
  • organizational consulting (organization diagnostics, development of HR-strategy and HR systems, analysis and revision of motivation management, salary, compensation and motivation systems, training and development, outplacement, organization development, etc.)
  • HR informatics (assessment of HR informatics requirements, consultancy, introduction of HR informatics systems, client-side project management; e-Hunter: web-based recruitment software developed by the company, etc)
  • general and strategy consulting (strategy creation, preparation of analyses and studies, consultancy related to participation in Hungarian and European tenders, tender writing and management, management consultancy, coaching, communication consultancy, issue management, etc.)
  • growth consulting (audit, organizational preparation of high-risk capital investment, preparation of enterprises with high growth potential for the capital increase, etc.)
Since the involvement of the new branches, the proportion of the projects in which Telkes Consulting Inc. acts as a main contractor, agent or consultant participating in the selection of the appropriate resources, competence or partner has been continuously on the rise. The company increasingly operates as a resource agency centre which supports its clients to find the most appropriate partner for the performance of specific tasks or functions, which includes finding an appropriate manager, the solution of a one-time task, the organization of a team to implement a major project, the selection of a supplier or a sub-contractor or finding a reliable outsource partner for a long-term relationship.  Naturally, in each field of activity, Telkes Consulting Inc. aims to work with high-standard and proven partners exclusively, whose long-term interest is to perform their tasks on the highest standard possible.
In summary, by the extension of its previous scope of activities, Telkes Consulting Inc.  has developed into a ‘generalist’ consulting operation with competencies and activities ranging from executive search through organizational and HR consulting to general, strategic and groth consulting.
